VISA, PASSPORT AND CONSULAR SERVICES

The High Commission of Papua New Guinea in Kuala Lumpur may offer consular assistance to its citizens. Services offered may include:

  • Visa services
  • Passport services
  • Notarial services and legalization
  • Civil Registration
  • Emergency documents


Visitors Visas

  • Single Entry valid for sixty (60) days
  • Completed Entry Permit Application Form
  • One passport-size photo
  • Passport valid for more than six (6) months
  • Copy of return airline ticket
  • Evidence of funds (Bank statement)
  • Cost: Free


Business Visa

Single Entry is valid for thirty (30) days only and no extension is allowed.

Multiple Entry valid for twelve (12) months with multiple entries of sixty (60) days each visit and no extension is allowed:

Invitation Letter from PNG-based sponsor and second party /company confirmation or related documents supporting the exact nature of visit and guarantee of financial upkeep and repatriation of the applicant.


Employment Visa

  • Copy of Sponsor Letter from Employer
  • Completed Entry Permit Application Form
  • Copy of Work Permit Letter
  • One passport-size photo
  • Police Report within six (6) months validity
  • Medical Reports within six (6) months validity and consisting of : General Examination, Chest/Lungs X-ray report, HIV blood Lab test report.


Dependent Visa

  • Copy of Sponsor Letter from Principal Applicant’s (PA) Employer
  • Completed Entry Permit Application
  • Copy of Principal Applicant’s work permit letter
  • One passport-size photo
  • Police Report within six (6) months validity
  • Medical Reports within six (6) months validity and consisting of : General Examination, Chest/Lungs X-ray report, HIV blood Lab test report.
  • The counter service days for visa lodgment and collection are from Monday to Friday from 09:00 am – 12.30 pm and 2.00 pm -4.30 pm.


Applicants must ensure that Entry Permit Forms are fully completed, and all necessary requirements are provided at the time of submitting the visa application. Additional documents will be requested, and interviews may also be conducted where it is deemed necessary.

There will be an additional charge of RM250 per applicant for Service Fee.

In line with the PNG Immigration policy, all visa fees are non-refundable.
